We the officers and staff of the Palmer Police Department are proud to provide service and assistance to the citizens of Palmer as well as individuals who may be visiting or passing through our city. The City of Palmer is large enough to provide a full time Police Department and its services yet small enough that it is quiet with minimal crime. Palmer provides a sense of security, safety and a pleasant atmosphere to raise a family. Palmer is located about 28 miles South of Dallas, TX on IH-45. We are close enough to Dallas for easy accessibility yet far enough away to provide a much more relaxed living atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle, noise and high crime statistics of "big city living." The Palmer Police Department is community oriented, dedicated to the protection of life and property and the delivery of professional law enforcement and community service. The Palmer Police Department strives to serve and protect our citizens while enhancing the quality of life in our community. We wish to work closely with our community leaders and citizens to make this goal possible. Please feel free to drop by the PD at 114 W. Jefferson to say "hello" or to make any suggestions that you may have to improve our community. Below on this page you will find links to other law enforcement agencies that may be of interest or assistance to you.
