**Water Rate Increase effective March 1, 2013**
At the February 19, 2013 city council meeting a water rate increase was approved. This increase was necessitated by an increase in the cost of water purchased from the Rockett SUD. The increase for the average water customer using 5000 gallons per month will be $1.60 per month.
